My research interests are in elucidating the alterations in fatty acyl species during the pathogenesis of varying diseases. My work focuses on utilizing analytical techniques to assess fatty acyl composition of samples as well as utilizing protein expression techniques to assess the proteins regulating the production of the fatty acids.
Currently, I am working on collaborations where we are assessing the impact of microplastics on the inflammatory process in a transgenic zebrafish model.
