Mr. Seleman Samwel Shimo is an Assistant Lecturer, Researcher and Consultant at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) since November 2021. Mr. Shimo holds BSc. Science with Education from the University of Dar es salaam (UDSM) (2006-2009), MSc. Agricultural Biotechnology from Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Hungary (2019-2021). Mr. Shimo is currently attending a four-year PhD study programme (September 2024-August 2028) in the Doctoral School of Animal Biotechnology and Animal Science at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Hungary. Mr. Shimo worked as a Biology teacher at Kifungilo girls’ secondary school in Tanga region from April 2010-March 2015 and as a Tutorial Assistant at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (March 2015-October 2021). His area of research interest includes; In vitro studies, Animal Reproductive Physiology, Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), Fish Genomics, Food Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering.
